Portable power station is becoming more and more popular now. Many friends are not very clear about some parameters in the product introduction of portable power station. Today, I will give you a brief introduction to the difference between volts and amperes and watts of portable power station;

The difference between volts, amperes and wattage:

1. The physical quantities represented are different

The physical quantity represented by ampere is the intensity of electric current.

The physical quantities represented by volts are voltage and electromotive force.

The physical quantity represented by watt is power.

2. The units of volts, amperes and watts are different

The SI unit of ampere is A.

The international unit of volts is V(W/A).

The English unit of wattage is W (J/s).

The role of volts, amperes, and wattage:

Ampere number: It is a constant current passing through two parallel straight wires of infinite length and negligible circular cross-section in a vacuum, when the force generated between the two wires per meter length is equal to 2×10-7 Newton.

Volts: It is the potential difference between the two points when the power dissipation on the wire between the two points is 1W (1W=1 J/S) on a wire carrying a constant current of 1A.

Wattage: It means that 1W means that the work done by the object in 1s is J.
