When going camping, you will basically bring a portable power station, so what should you pay attention to when using the power supply?

1. Various parameters that should be paid attention to when using lithium batteries, such as input voltage range, output waveform, output power, power supply time, conversion time, as well as lithium battery brand, machine noise, volume, weight and other parameters. All kinds of UPS are not suitable for full-load operation, and more than 20% of the power margin should be reserved. It is best to control the load between 40% and 60% of the rated output power of the UPS.

2. When the lithium battery is not used for a long time, it should be turned on once in a while. As for the backup type, it is recommended that the UPS work in the inverter working state for at least 2~3 minutes every month to activate the battery and prolong the service life of the battery. When charging, try to avoid over-current and over-voltage charging. Proper discharge helps activate the battery.

3. Master the basic knowledge of lithium batteries, carefully read the equipment manual, and understand the meanings of various warning messages, warning codes, indicator lights, and the causes and countermeasures. Familiar with the purpose of various switches and buttons on the equipment. Familiar with various operations of UPS and understand the connection relationship.

4. Strengthen daily inspections and maintenance, check whether the equipment has alarms, peculiar smells, and abnormal noises, check whether the joints are loose and generate heat, whether the cooling fan is running normally, whether the various indications of the equipment are normal, and find problems in time deal with.

5. Maintain an appropriate ambient temperature. The most important factor affecting the life of lithium batteries is the ambient temperature. Generally, the optimal ambient temperature required by battery processing manufacturers is between 20-25°C. Once the ambient temperature exceeds 25°C, the life of the battery will be diminished significantly for every 10°C increase.

6. Replace waste/bad batteries in time. In the continuous operation and use of lithium batteries, due to the difference in performance and quality, it is inevitable that the performance of individual batteries will decline, and the storage capacity will not meet the requirements and be damaged. When some/some batteries in the battery pack are damaged, maintenance personnel should check and detect each battery to exclude damaged batteries.

7. The use environment of lithium batteries should be well ventilated to facilitate heat dissipation and keep the environment clean. Do not carry inductive loads, such as banknote counters, fluorescent lamps, air conditioners, etc., so as not to cause damage to the uninterruptible power supply.
